These are being organised and delivered centrally and we have provided some useful information on these below-
If you think that you should have received your appointment by now, or have lost your invitation - please check that you are in a group currently being invited for vaccination (you can do this by looking at the COVID 19 Website - link below) and, if so, contact NHS using the Online Contact Form. This can be accessed by clicking here. Unpaid carers should self register for their COVID vaccine by clicking here Household members of shielding patients can now apply for a vaccination by calling the Helpline number listed below.
A Grampian Covid 19 vaccination website giving vaccination information and updates on when each group is being called is available by clicking here. A general helpline is also available from 8am until 8pm every day on 0800 030 8013
GP practices cannot provide confirmation of your COVID vaccine (a vaccine "passport"). The Scottish Government are currently working on a technology solution that may allow patients to access their vaccine status directly - we will provide updates on this as we get them

Appointments - When you contact us, we will work with you to decide the best way of helping with your problem - this might be by phone, video or making an appointment to see you in person (a clinician will decide that a face to face appointment is needed only if seeing you may change their treatment plan for you). If you are contacting us about a new issue - please use e-consult by clicking the "get started" button above - the information you provide here or to our reception team helps our clinicians plan their workload for the day. This means that patients in the greatest need are dealt with first. Reception teams do not make clinical decisions but have training to help patients get the most appropriate service. Our reception teams are here to help - please treat them with courtesy

We will always redirect patients with possible COVID symptoms to NHS111 and check if you have symptoms before you come into the practice for a pre-arranged appointment
Video Consultations - If you have been given a time or day for a video consultation, you can access this by clicking on the secure link https://nhsattend.vc/nhsg/CardenMC using any device with a microphone and camera (smartphone, tablet, ipad, laptop, PC). You can use this link to test that everything is working for you before the time of your appointment. If you have not been given a video appointment by the practice, your call will not be answered.

Mask Wearing - we do not provide letters to advise that patients cannot wear masks The wearing of face coverings is currently compulsory in many areas . Some people cannot wear masks because of a disability or severe distress - if you are in this position, you can request an exemption card online at www.exempt.scot or by calling 0800 121 6240
Prescription Collection - Please use one of the pharmacy collection services if you need prescriptions, you cannot collect prescriptions from the practice
Self Treatment (including Physio) and Local Pharmacy (including when to see your local pharmacy for a UTI)
Not all conditions need a visit to your GP, please click on our Self Treatment Link for information about many common minor ailments. Pharmacist are experts in medicine and your local pharmacy can also help with many minor heath concerns without the need to visit your GP.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) - use the flowchart provided in the link below to check when you should be visiting your pharmacy rather than GP for a UTI/suspected UTI.

Keeping Antibiotics Working Campaign
The campaign reminds us that a course of antibiotics is not required to treat common winter illnesses such as viral coughs, colds and flu. The video below will direct you to the Know Who To TurnTo website where you have options to select different services. Under Self Help and Pharmacist there is a link to "Coughs, Colds and More" which has brief information about self care, links to NHS Grampian Self Help Guides and the NHSInform and Antibiotic Guardian website.
On Line Services -
We have currently suspended booking of appointments on line - this allows us to check the reason for your appointment and deal with this by phone if appropriate to prevent patients visiting the practice if this is not needed (see coronavirus above)
Prescriptions can still be ordered using this service - please ensure that you advise us which pharmacy you would like to pick up your prescriptions from as these cannot currently be collected from the practice.
